Today was your average Wednesday, but it went by easier and faster than usual because I knew I was headed somewhere fun after work- a pumpkin patch! I love October, Fall & all things Halloween, so I was stoked. Despite a lack of fall temperatures lately, I was going to get to enjoy a fall activity!
When searching for a pumpkin patch we could go to on a weekday after work, we quickly realized options were limited (most patches close at 6 p.m.). However, Pumpkin City stays open later which made it an easy choice for us.
To be 100% honest: I had only seen tiny glimpses of Pumpkin City from my commute on the nearby freeway. And I assumed this was going to be a lackluster pumpkin patch in a mall parking lot.

Let me tell you- I was so beyond pleasantly surprised!
Pumpkin City is laid out in an orderly fashion and has other fun fall activities like a tractor derby, petting zoo, random pond of ducks, and so much more. There are also adorable photo props and tractors, hay barrels, and wheelbarrows for photo ops.

There is no fee to enter, and the pumpkins are reasonably priced. The other rides/games require tickets which can be purchased at a stand inside the entrance.
I don’t have kids but this is the most kid-friendly and fun place I can imagine for fall. There’s so much here that a child would be ecstatic over did I mention there’s a gem mine where you can pan for stones? A pony ride? Bounce houses?
Anyways. I would highly recommend checking Pumpkin City in Laguna Hills out!
