World Suicide Prevention Day

suicide-prevention-1-650x440It’s been a little while since I’ve written and I am randomly feeling inspired this morning. I just wanted to reach out to any of my followers or readers who may be feeling hopeless or bleak. Yesterday was World Suicide Prevention Day 2018 and this weighs heavy on my heart. I lost my grandfather to suicide, and depression runs rampant among my family. I personally have dealt with anxiety and panic attacks, depression, suicidal thoughts and self harm. And to be honest, I still struggle with these things. I have my good days and my dark ones.

I wanted to write this post to make it abundantly clear: if you feel that you are not needed on this Earth, you couldn’t be more wrong. The world would not be the same without you in it. Even in your times of sadness, your times of worthlessness- people love you. You have skills to share with others, passions and dreams to pursue. You are important. You are loved. And you are so, so needed in our world. Please stay.

Anyone that needs someone to talk to- I am here to support you in any way that I can.
